Dear Colleagues,

The 1995 Conference will take place from Friday October 13th. through Sunday October
15th. inclusive. All persons, whether radiologists, pathologists, surgeons, dentists, radiography
technicians, etc., interested in the advancement of Dentomaxillofacial Radiology, are
welcome to attend.
This notice is only a preliminary communication. The Registration forms and more specific
information will follow shortly.
If you are unlikely to be on our regular mailing list and would like to receive more information
please contact the Secretary/Treasurer at the address or Fax number.
To gain your attention and interest a brief outline of the proposed program is set out on
the following of this letter.
Melbourne, a city of nearly 3 million persons, is regarded as the multicultural centre of
the Southern Hemisphere, and being one of the first cities to be established, holds much
historical interest for the visitor. The city is world famous for its many shopping precincts.
Melbourne is replete with night clubs and restaurants and there is a casino for the visitor
with a feeling for adventure and excitement. Many tours to rural and mountain adventure
destinations along with visits to the old gold fields and vinyards are available and the zoo
and several wildlife parks are regarded as prime visiting places for visitors from overseas.

A brief outline of the proposed program

FRIDAY 13th. (all day)
Invited papers: CT anatomy of the Maxillofacial Region
Anatomy and Tumours of the Post-nasal Space.
MRI of the Temporomandibular Joints

We are seeking lecture contributions which embrace these topics or which consolidate
our understanding of the anatomy (and disease states) of the Orofacial and adjacent regions.
Please give an early indication of your interest and, in doing so, allow time to be reserved
on the program for your presentation.

SATURDAY 14th.
Morning : Free papers : These will be 15 minutes presentation time (plus 5 minutes
question time) as with the IADMFIR format unless other arrangements are made.
Afternoon : Free.
Evening : Annual Dinner to which all - including partners and friends- are invited.

SUNDAY 15th.
Morning : Radiology Challenges and Clinical Case Forum.
Afternoon : Radiology Challenges and Clinical Case Forum.

We are seeking participation from all attending. Almost everyone should have an interesting

of the Conference weekend. You will make friends for ever and share in the professional
and social delights of our special area of Radiology.

1995 ANNUAL SESSION OF THE AMERICAN ACADEMY

The 46th Annual Session of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology
will be held from November 29, 1995 through December 3, 1995 at the Knickerbocker
Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. Registration forms for the meeting will be printed in the Summer
issue of the Academy's Newsletter, which Academy members will receive early in August.
