I am pleased to announce that our new publisher is the British Institute of Radiology (http://www.bir.org.uk/content/html/index.htm) , who also publishes the British Journal of Radiology. As our contract with the Nature Publishing Group drew to a close the Editorial Board examined several possible publishers and felt that one with a special interest in radiology would benefit our journal the most. The transition has now occurred and I would like to thank all those concerned in both publishing houses whose co-operation produced such a smooth change.

More details will be provided in an Editorial of the May 2003 edition of the journal, while authors should look at the editorial office website http://oralsurgery.dental.ufl.edu/dmfr for guidance regarding submission of papers.
